Tiny green leaves grow on very low spreading stems. Foliage takes on a reddish hue at the tips in fall. Stays less than an inch tall. Leaves are lightly scalloped, giving it a dainty appearance. Clusters of bright blue flowers with white eyes bloom in early summer. Slow grower, but long lived. Use in fairy gardens, miniature gardens, trough gardens and rock gardens. Perennial in the ground to USDA zone 4. Grow in full sun to part shade. Charming! Outdoors only; not recommened for indoor gardens.
