Ulmus parviflora 'Hokkaido'
Dwarf Princess Elm. This petite Princess Elm is a tiny treasure for fairy gardens and miniature landscapes. Contributes amazing texture and interest in every season. Drops its leaves in the fall, revealing a complex structure of tiny twigs and branches. Bark begins to exfoliage (to peel) at a young age. Spends the summer covered in tiny green leaves. Has an upright broad habit. A rare variety, long sought after for bonsai and troughs. Cold hardy to zone 5. Plants are about 4.5" tall above a 3.5"h x 4"diameter pot. Plants are dormant, just beginning to leaf out (as shown in photos). A fabulous little plant!
