The Sherwood Fairy Door is a charming piece for fairy gardens and whimsical miniature gardens alike. A little red door with golden handle and hinges is nestled in the middle of an old tree. Carved steps lead from the base of the trunk up to the door. The piece measures about 8" tall and about 5" wide at the base. The front of the Sherwood Fairy Door has great dimensional detail, while the back is flat with two hooks for easy mounting. It can be hung on a tree or wall or mounted on a small stake to stand alone in the garden. The fairy garden doors at the Miniature Garden Shoppe are created by a local artist and her husband. The doors are made of hand-pored concrete and individually hand-painted and stained. Each one is sealed to resist the weather and preserve the beauty. While all of the materials are intended for outdoor use, it is still recommended to store fairy doors inside for the winter months in cold climates.
