Pixie Dust Dwarf Alberta Spruce.  The perfect little evergreen tree for the miniature/fairy garden.  Keeps its cute Christmas tree form naturally - no pruning needed.  A nice vertical accent to contast with all of the short mounded plants in the garden.  Pixie size is perfect for little landscapes and gardens, with a growth rate of just 1-2" per year.  Shown here with bright yellow-green new foliage.  Needles will darken as the season goes on.  Very festive wrapped with a string of Miniature Christmas Lights.  Prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soil.  Cold hardy to zone 4.  Plants are about 6" tall above a 3.5"h x 4"diameter pot.  One of our favorites.  Collector's Conifer of the Year for 2006.
