Muehlenbeckia axillaris (Creeping)

Fine foliage and stems are the perfect size/scale for miniature gardens and fairy gardens.  Little round green leaves grow on dark thin wiry stems.  Plants are smaller and foliage is finer (leaves are about half the size) than that of regular Wire Vine (Muehlenbeckia complexa).  Makes a nice little bush - a busy ball of stems and leaves - in the miniature garden.  (Not the plant to grow over an arbor or up a large trellis; Use Muehlenbeckia complexa for a vine)  Easy to grow in sun to shade and even indoors with good light.  Great little plant for wild gardens, woodland scenes, and any setting that needs a little textural interest.  Very pretty growing near a large stone or rock wall as a backdrop for the little leaves and stems.  A personal favorite.
