Herniaria glabra 'Sea Foam'

Rupturewort.  Tiny cream and light green variegated leaves cover dense mat-forming plants.Low-growing plants hug the ground and reach just an inch tall.   Foliage and habit look very similar to Sedum 'Mentha Requein' (but variegated). Has a tap root, rather than many roots along the stems.  Said to be drought tolerant.  May flower in summer with tiny white blooms.  Prefers sun and well-drained soil.  Makes a handsome groundcover for the miniature landscape and fairy garden.  Good in planters and in the ground.  Available in 2.5” x 2.5” x 3.5" pots.
