Buxus microphylla 'Kingsville'
Kingsville Japanese Boxwood. Perfect miniature evergreen shrub for low maintenance fairy gardens, miniature landscapes, and trough gardens. Broad glossy green leaves -most just 1/4" - grow on very small tightly globe-shaped plants. Very slow growing, puts on just about 1/2 inch of new growth each year. May reach 6" x 6" in 10 years. Provides color and interest in every season. Ideal for fairy gardens and miniature gardens in containers, trough gardens, and railroad gardens. Also popular for bonsai. Boxwoods are garden staples - in any size landscape! Appreciates some shade, especially in summer. Prune during winter through mid-summer, if desired. Cold hardy to zone 5. Plants are growing in pots approximately 4" x 4" x 5".
